Collaboration Gothenburg-Tokai
Göteborg University (Sweden) and the University of Tokai (Japan) have produced video material for a course on Intercultural Communication. Seven scenes which illustrate different ways of greeting depending on different parameters like age, sex, local origin and status were enacted in both countries. The students received a list of instructions for performing the assigment as well as quidelines for the analysis. The Japanese students sent feedback comments reciprocally. The aim of the task was to study differences in body language between two cultures.
